Langdon’s Professional Tennis, which he operated in Beverly Hills and West Los Angeles
until his relocation to Orange County in 1992.
In 1993, he was then appointed Executive Director of the California Division of the United
States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) the national trade association for tennis
teaching professionals. Among the many accomplishments during his three-year tenure,he created and published
'ProFile', the bi-monthly divisional newsletter, and created and coordinated the inaugural Southern California Tennis
Convention. In 1994, he received the highly coveted Professional of the Year award.
In 1995 he founded TENNIS IOI, an independent tennis instruction business in south Orange County, specializing in
private and group instruction for beginning adults and children. He has been Director of Tennis for the Aliso Viejo
Community Association tennis program in the city of Aliso Viejo, one of the first recreational programs developed for

and systems involved in teaching the fundamentals of the groundstrokes, volleys and
serves. He has earned the respect of all students for his attention to detail, his work ethic,
and his mild manner. The young kids absolutely love him!
As a player, Steven, has received the highest level coaching available in Orange County, as
